Derrick Henry says he wants to finish his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry clarified his comments from a training‑camp interview with host Kay Adams, stating he would like to end his playing days in Baltimore. The 32‑year‑old, a five‑time Pro Bowl and two‑year veteran of the Ravens, emphasized that he has not been thinking about retirement and will "worry about that retirement sh* later." Henry, who rushed for 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns last season and is under contract through 2027, retweeted the clarification on X.

He also praised rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane, comparing the youngster’s ball‑skills to former teammate DeAndre Hopkins and noting the offensive coordinator’s similar praise. Henry’s remarks were intended to reaffirm his commitment to the team and dispel speculation about an imminent departure.
