Derrick Rose launches floral business with PGA Tour partnership

Former NBA MVP Derrick Rose has transitioned from professional basketball to entrepreneurship with the launch of Rose's Flower Shop. Based in Chicago, the business recently achieved a major milestone by partnering with the PGA Tour for the Presidents Cup event held at Medinah Country Club.

During the tournament, which took place from September 24 to September 27, the shop provided floral arrangements near the first tee and designed the display surrounding the Presidents Cup trophy. Rose stated that the business is intended to be a family enterprise that provides a “safe haven” and “fortress” for his nieces and nephews.

LeBron James highlighted Rose's new venture by resharing an interview about the transition on his Instagram Stories. Rose noted that he is approaching the industry as a student, emphasizing that he is building the brand “brick-by-brick” without attempting to exploit his former celebrity status.
