The Apprentice Boys of Derry are holding their annual Relief of Derry parade to commemorate the end of the 105-day Siege of Derry in 1689. The event involves more than 7,000 members and 124 bands parading along the city's historic walls.
Activities include a service of thanksgiving at St Columb's Cathedral and a pageant re-enacting the Siege of Derry. The main parade is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM following smaller morning processions.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has issued warnings regarding significant traffic delays and diversions. Restrictions include the closure of the top deck of Craigavon Bridge, limited access to the lower deck, and parking restrictions along the parade route. Motorists are advised to use the Foyle Bridge or follow signposted diversions to navigate around the city.
