Derviš Čičko to promote engineering handbook in Tuzla

Mining and mechanical engineer Derviš Čičko is presenting his professional handbook, ‘Ugljeno-grafitne četkice u inženjerskoj praksi’ (Carbon-Graphite Brushes in Engineering Practice), at the Atelje ‘Ismet Mujezinović’ in Tuzla.

Čičko compiled, translated, and personally funded the publication, which aggregates technical information from various manufacturer manuals and catalogs. The book is designed as a technical aid for engineers and technicians to assist in the proper operation, maintenance, and understanding of carbon-graphite brushes used in electric rotary machines, motors, and generators.

The author noted that the publication addresses a lack of specialized technical literature regarding graphite technology and brush application within Bosnia and Herzegovina. The book is reviewed by experts Dr. Sulejman-Suno Mešalić, Dr. Fadil Nadarević, and Engineer Admir Hajdarević.
