Derya Arms partners with Olympic medalist Yusuf Dikeç

Derya Arms, a defense company based in Konya, has announced a long-term collaboration with Olympic silver medalist Yusuf Dikeç. The partnership, launched in Istanbul, aims to integrate Dikeç’s professional shooting experience and user perspective into the development of high-tech weapon platforms.

According to the Presidency of Defense Industries, Turkey’s defense and aerospace exports grew from $4.4 billion in 2022 to $10.054 billion in 2025, representing a 129% increase over three years. Derya Arms, which exports approximately 90% of its production to over 86 countries, intends to use this collaboration to enhance its R&D and product development.

Company leadership noted that while technical engineering and production remain with specialized teams, Dikeç will provide feedback on sporting use and user experience. Current R&D efforts include the development of anti-drone rifles for military use, with future plans to expand production into platforms such as the AR-15.
