Desamparados to host employment fair with 800+ job openings

The Municipality of Desamparados in Costa Rica will host its sixth career fair of 2026 to support local economic development. The event aims to reduce regional unemployment by connecting job seekers with employers looking to fill critical roles.

More than 800 distinct job vacancies will be available during the multi-sector recruitment drive. The fair is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, 2026, operating daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event will take place at the Teatro Municipal La Villa, located near the Municipal Palace in Desamparados.
