Desenzano del Garda police clear unauthorized beach campsite

Authorities in Desenzano del Garda conducted a joint operation involving the Carabinieri and Polizia di Stato to clear an unauthorized campsite on the beach near via Vò. The intervention followed a report from a 26-year-old man who was allegedly assaulted during a dispute involving alcohol and drugs.

During the early morning raid, police identified five individuals between the ages of 25 and 39. Two tents were found on the beach, and the individuals were taken to police stations for questioning. Reports indicate that the group was known to sleep in tents on this stretch of coastline, an area already under local police observation.
