Desert Rock Resort earns three Michelin Keys in Saudi Arabia

Desert Rock Resort, located in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea destination, has been awarded three Michelin Keys, the highest distinction granted by the Michelin Guide for hotels. This achievement makes it the first hotel in Saudi Arabia to receive this rating. The resort joins an elite group of only 155 hotels worldwide that hold three Michelin Keys this year.

In addition to the hotel rating, Desert Rock Resort won the Michelin Guide's global award for Architecture and Design. The guide praised the resort for its integration with the natural landscape, noting how its design utilizes surrounding rock formations. The project was designed by Oppenheim Architecture with interior design by Studio Paolo Ferrari.

Red Sea Global also announced that the Shibara Resort has retained its two Michelin Keys in the 2026 guide selections. The three-key rating is reserved for ultra-luxury hotels that represent the pinnacle of global hospitality and offer unique, unforgettable experiences worth traveling for.
