Deshaun Watson seeks fan support ahead of Browns home opener

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is preparing for his first home game of the season against the Carolina Panthers following a Week 2 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After facing significant criticism and boos from fans during the preseason, Watson expressed a desire to move past previous tensions, stating, “never try to go to war with the fans,” and noting he is ready for the crowd's support.

Following Watson's recent performance, some analysts have speculated on the team's future roster moves. One prediction suggests the Browns could potentially trade Shedeur Sanders before the NFL trade deadline if Watson's performance remains stable and the team's depth at quarterback allows for it. This potential move could target teams currently facing quarterback instability, such as the Giants, Commanders, or Falcons.
