Design and architecture festivals scheduled in Balneário Camboriú and Coimbra

Various urban design and architecture festivals are scheduled to take place in Balneário Camboriú and Coimbra.

In Balneário Camboriú, the fourth edition of the DW! Semana de Design is being held from August 18 to 21 at the CasaHall Design Shopping. Under the theme ‘Ideias em Movimento’, the event features over 40 free activities, including talks, launches, and sensory installations designed by regional architects. This year includes guided tours led by architecture students from the University of Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI).

Coimbra will host the second edition of the FORMA Architecture Festival from September 24 to 27. Promoted by IF – Plataforma de Arquitectura, the festival aims to bring architecture closer to daily life through seminars, exhibitions, and workshops. Key discussions will focus on ‘Architecture and Society’ and ‘Public Housing and Offsite Construction’, involving government officials and industry professionals. The event also features a lecture series with prominent architects and the installation of the FORMA Pavilion in Praça da República.
