Designer Kamilė Verikienė returns to Mažeikiai to teach art

Designer Kamilė Verikienė has returned to her hometown of Mažeikiai to balance her creative career with teaching at an art school. After graduating from the Vilnius Academy of Arts five years ago, Verikienė chose to settle in Mažeikiai rather than live in a large city, noting a growing interest in the arts among local youth and increasing opportunities for creators in the area.

Verikienė, a mother of two, describes her lifelong passion for creativity, which began in childhood. She credits her early artistic development to her school teachers, specifically mentioning Ingrida Muturė from Gabija Gymnasium, as a significant inspiration for her professional path.
