Designer Đỗ Mạnh Cường debuts first solo art exhibition

Designer Đỗ Mạnh Cường held his first solo art exhibition, titled ‘Những mùa hoa trong ký ức’ (Flower Seasons in Memory), at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts on September 12. The exhibition marks his professional transition into fine arts after nearly two decades in the fashion industry.

The collection features numerous works created over the last two years, primarily focusing on themes of flowers and plants through bold, emotional brushstrokes. The event was attended by several prominent Vietnamese artists and celebrities, including actress Tăng Thanh Hà and Miss Vietnam Hà Kiều Anh.

Tăng Thanh Hà, a long-time friend and collaborator of the designer, expressed her pride in his artistic journey and selected a painting to purchase at the event. Other attendees, including Miss Vietnam Bùi Quỳnh Hoa and Phương Khánh, noted the impressive scale and vibrant color palette of the works, which differ from the designer's established fashion language.
