Designers showcase luxury residential interiors in New York

Designers Natalia Miyar and Greg Natale have completed high-end residential projects in New York, showcasing distinct approaches to texture and unconventional lighting.

Natalia Miyar designed a 4,400-square-foot Manhattan apartment, utilizing a palette of materials inspired by the city skyline. The interior features a mix of fabric, metal, and stone, including tobacco-hued Phillip Jeffries wall coverings, custom Pierre Frey fabric benches, and black-and-white wallpaper in windowless hallways to create visual interest through depth and pattern.

In a separate New York townhouse project, Greg Natale implemented a creative lighting solution by mounting an Apparatus Studio Trapeze ceiling light as a wall sconce in the kitchen. This modification was intended to increase light in the center of the floor plan while providing a sculptural, modernist aesthetic inspired by 1950s French task lighting.
