Desimir Stanojević: Legacy of the ‘Srećni ljudi’ actor

Desimir Stanojević (1950–2020), the Serbian actor widely recognized for his role as Vukašin Golubović in the series ‘Srećni ljudi’, is being remembered for his extensive career and personal life.

Stanojević, who was born in Niš, achieved significant popularity through his television work, though he often noted that the fame from this specific role became a professional burden alongside his decades of theater and musical experience. He previously reflected on the technical nature of filming romantic scenes with co-star Snežana Savić, noting that while she had more experience with such scenes, he approached them as a professional technique.

Regarding his personal life, Stanojević married his wife, Nada, when she was 17 years old. He recalled the strict family dynamics of the time, noting that his father-in-law enforced a 9:00 PM curfew for her even shortly before their wedding. The couple was married for 36 years and had two daughters, Nina and Sanja. His daughter Nina later married fellow actor Zoran Ćosić.
