Desolus sets Nintendo Switch 2 release date

The first-person puzzle game Desolus has received a confirmed release date of October 15, 2026, for the Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Mark J. Mayers and The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, the title features mechanics that allow players to use portals to navigate between a Gothic city’s past and its future.

Players must solve architectural puzzles by manipulating black holes to transpose structures like stairs and archways across different timelines. The game aims to prevent a temporal cataclysm within an Escher-like city. Mayers described the project as a twelve-year pursuit focused on creating a world of complex spatial reasoning and Gothic architecture.
