During the October 19 episode of the Star TV show ‘Cash or Trash’, presenter Despoina Moiraraki was the target of a prank orchestrated by her production team. The incident involved a decorative horse head sculpture brought by a guest, Angeliki, for valuation by appraiser Thanos Loudos.

During the segment, the sculpture appeared to fall and shatter on the floor, causing significant distress. The owner of the item became emotional and began to cry, believing the valuable and sentimental piece was destroyed, while Moiraraki attempted to comfort her. Tension rose between the presenter and Loudos regarding responsibility for the damage.

The situation was revealed to be a staged prank intended to mark the start of the new season. Upon learning the incident was fake, Moiraraki expressed her shock and frustration to the crew.
