Dessert recipes feature kogel-mogel and chocolate tofu cream

Various dessert preparation methods and recipes are highlighted, ranging from traditional sweets to modern plant-based alternatives.

A variation of the classic kogel-mogel dessert can be made by using dry Demerara cane sugar to add a caramel note. By sprinkling the sugar on top and lightly torching it, the dessert achieves a crunchy layer similar to crème brûlée. This version is suggested to be served in small ramekins with seasonal fruits and oat cookies.

For a protein-rich alternative, a chocolate cream can be made using silken tofu. When blended with dark chocolate, a ripe banana, cocoa, vanilla, and a pinch of salt, the tofu creates a smooth, velvety mousse. This dessert is best served with fresh berries such as raspberries, strawberries, or blueberries.
