Destilerías MG launches MG Brisa distilled gin

Destilerías MG, a producer based in Vilanova i la Geltrú, has launched MG Brisa, a new distilled gin. Following its introduction in Spain, the product has officially entered the Portuguese market with a launch event in Lisbon.

Unlike traditional London Dry gins where botanicals are distilled together, MG Brisa utilizes a “distilled gin” method. This process involves distilling each botanical separately at its optimal moment to preserve freshness without relying on frozen or dehydrated ingredients. The components are then combined to achieve a balanced profile.

The flavor profile features tangerine for citrus notes, fig for sweetness, and laurel and pine for herbaceous and balsamic qualities. Sea water is included in the formulation to act as a natural flavor enhancer. The product's visual identity and label design are inspired by the coastal atmosphere of Barceloneta.
