Deszk lifts water restrictions as Pécs announces administrative recess

The Municipality of Deszk has announced the termination of Level I water restrictions, effective August 12, 2026, at 00:00. The decision follows the end of a Level 3 heatwave and ensures that water supply stability is maintained based on current hydrometeorological forecasts and operational conditions.

Separately, the Municipality of Pécs has declared an administrative recess for its Mayor's Office from August 17 to August 21, 2026. During this period, several municipal buildings and social centers will be closed. However, a limited client service will be available at the Kossuth tér location on August 17 to handle specific matters such as registry procedures, technical and address registration, and certain tax-related inquiries.
