Detective Conan marks 30th anniversary with Osaka exhibition and Shinkansen fan campaign
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the TV anime, an exhibition titled “TV Anime ‘Detective Conan’ 30th Anniversary Exhibit” opened at the Yomiuri TV headquarters in Osaka on 11 July 2026 and will run until 16 August 2026. The show displays production materials, storyboards, character models and original merchandise, and includes photo‑spots such as a bronze statue of the Boy Detectives and reproductions of the detective office.
Starting 10 August 2026, JR Central will run a limited‑time “Oshi‑tabi” promotion on the Tokaido Shinkansen. Passengers can solve Conan‑themed puzzles, access AR photo frames and earn original key‑chains or acrylic accessories. The campaign also offers a draw for a railway‑work experience tour. Both events celebrate the series’ long‑running popularity and its upcoming 2026 movie release.
