Deterministic to retire to Lane's End Farm after Grade 1 success
Racehorse Deterministic will retire to stud at Lane's End Farm following a highly successful racing career. A multiple Grade 1 winner, the five-year-old has earned total career earnings of $3,047,265.
Deterministic achieved historic success by becoming the only horse to win both the Manhattan Stakes and the Fourstardave Stakes in the same year for two consecutive years. His career included victories in the Gotham Stakes, the Virginia Derby, and the Fort Marcy Stakes. His recent performances included back-to-back Grade 1 wins in the Manhattan and Fourstardave at Saratoga.
Owned by St. Elias Stable, Ken Langone, C. Steven Duncker, and Vicarage Stable, the horse was trained by Miguel Clement. Vinnie Viola of St. Elias noted the special nature of the journey, highlighting that as a son of Liam's Map, it is fitting for Deterministic to join the roster at Lane's End.
