Dřetovice hosts pumpkin self-service stall in local barn

In Dřetovice, a pumpkin self-service shop has returned to a local barn, allowing customers to select produce based on size for prices ranging from 10 to 100 CZK per piece. The setup operates on a trust system where visitors select their items and pay via cash, QR code, or even by leaving sweets for children in a designated spot.

In addition to pumpkins, the stall offers fresh domestic eggs. The owner, Hana, noted that the self-service model was implemented because the family is not home often enough to manage direct sales. Due to the presence of dry hay and straw in the barn, a strict no-smoking policy is in effect to ensure safety.
