Detran-BA launches vehicle auction in Bahia

The Bahia State Transit Department (Detran-BA) has launched a new online auction for seized vehicles located in the cities of Itabuna, Itaberaba, and Serrinha. The auction, identified as Notice No. 18/2026, includes both preserved vehicles capable of returning to circulation and scrap metal.

In Itabuna, 17 vehicles are available, with starting bids ranging from R$ 400 to R$ 4,600. The inventory includes motorcycles such as a Suzuki EN125 Yes and various cars including a Chevrolet Celta, Hyundai HB20, and a Fiat Strada. Three administrative vehicles, including a Volkswagen Saveiro and a Nissan Versa, are also included.

In Itaberaba, a Fiat Doblò EX is among the offerings with a starting bid of R$ 2,000. The auction is conducted exclusively online, with the final bidding session scheduled for September 15, 2026. Interested parties can visit the vehicle lots in person between September 8 and September 14 to inspect conditions before bidding.
