Detran-DF introduces digital defense services and vehicle auction

The Traffic Department of the Federal District (Detran-DF) has expanded its digital services, allowing drivers to contest traffic fines and driver's license suspension processes online. Through the Detran-DF Service Portal or the Detran Digital app, users can submit prior defenses and appeals to the Administrative Board of Infraction Appeals (Jari) and the State Traffic Council using their Gov.br accounts. To complete the process, drivers must upload digital documents, including identification, driver's licenses, and supporting evidence in PDF or image formats.

Additionally, Detran-DF has announced a public online auction scheduled for November 18 and 19, 2026. The auction will feature various lots, including preserved vehicles capable of returning to circulation, as well as scrap metal and vehicles with unusable engines. Interested parties may visit the vehicles for inspection between November 9 and 13 at the Via Brasília Segura yard.
