Detran-MT launches over 20 online services for citizens

The State Transit Department of Mato Grosso (Detran-MT) has expanded its digital offerings, making more than 20 services available online through its official website and the MT Cidadão application. Previously, these services required in-person attendance at physical units.

Key digital services include driver's license (CNH) renewal and annual vehicle licensing. Between January and September 2026, approximately 23.463 million CNH renewal processes were completed online. Additionally, 10.131 million digital vehicle transfers were processed during the same period.

To support these digital transitions, Detran-MT provides various virtual assistance channels, including a chatbot, WhatsApp, and telephone support. Detran-MT President Gustavo Vasconcelos stated that the expansion aims to modernize service, reduce bureaucracy, and increase convenience for the population of Mato Grosso.
