Detran-SP announces traffic agent job openings and 2025 vehicle auctions

The São Paulo State Traffic Department (Detran-SP) has announced a public contest offering 145 vacancies for the position of State Traffic Agent. Candidates must hold a higher education degree in any field and a driver's license of at least category B. The initial salary is set at R$ 5,702.18. Applications are open until October 7 via the Instituto Avalia website, with a registration fee of R$ 98.00. The selection process includes multiple-choice questions and an essay, with exams scheduled for November 1 across 17 cities, including São Paulo, Campinas, and Guarulhos.

Additionally, Detran-SP is organizing its 2025 vehicle auctions. These auctions feature cars and motorcycles seized by the Military Police due to issues such as lack of licensing, excessive fines, or missing license plates. The auctions are divided into three categories: vehicles with documentation rights for road use, vehicles for dismantling, and scrap metal for industry use. Participation is open to both individuals and legal entities, subject to specific criteria outlined in the official notice.
