Detroit Lions add former All-Pro linebacker Devin White

The Detroit Lions signed veteran linebacker Devin White to a one‑year free‑agent contract. White, a 2019 fifth‑overall draft pick and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers All‑Pro, recorded 174 tackles last season with the Las Vegas Raiders, ranking third in the NFL and setting a Raiders single‑season franchise record.

White brings 100 regular‑season games of experience, including a Pro Bowl appearance, a Super Bowl LV championship, and stints with the Buccaneers, Houston Texans and a brief period on the Philadelphia Eagles roster. He joins a Lions defense already anchored by Jack Campbell, who posted 176 tackles in 2025, and provides depth after rookie Jimmy Rolder suffered a leg injury in training camp.
