Detroit Lions Place Tight End Miles Kitselman on Injured Reserve and Re‑Sign WR Tarik Black
The Detroit Lions placed rookie tight end Miles Kitselman on injured reserve after a leg injury suffered in practice, ending his 2026 season before it began. The move cleared a roster spot that the team filled by re‑signing wide receiver Tarik Black, who had been released earlier in camp.
Coach Dan Campbell also confirmed that veteran tight end Tyler Conklin passed his physical and is expected to join the active roster after recovering from a calf injury. Additional adjustments included adding tight end Nick Muse and bringing back Zach Horton to bolster the tight‑end group.
These roster changes reflect the Lions’ ongoing effort to manage injuries and solidify depth at tight end and receiver positions ahead of the upcoming season.
