Detroit Lions sign linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga and re-sign WR Lawrence Keys III

The Detroit Lions have made roster adjustments, signing linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga to the active roster from the practice squad. In a related move, the team re-signed wide receiver Lawrence Keys III to the practice squad.

Keys, who was previously released in early August with an injury settlement, underwent a tryout with the team following his recovery. He previously played for the Houston Gamblers in the UFL and has been noted for his speed and punt returning abilities.

Head coach Dan Campbell indicated that the team intends to utilize a variety of players across the defense and special teams. The addition of Ogbongbemiga aims to bolster special teams play as the team manages its linebacker rotation, which includes players such as Jimmy Rolder, Trevor Nowaske, and Malcolm Rodriguez.
