Detroit Lions suffer key injuries during Cardinals matchup

The Detroit Lions faced significant roster setbacks during their Week 5 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium. Despite the team's performance on the field, head coach Dan Campbell confirmed that two players sustained injuries that will sideline them for a period of time.

Veteran defender Devin White suffered a broken forearm during the first quarter and was seen leaving the field on a cart. Campbell indicated that White will likely require surgery. Additionally, Tom Kennedy sustained a knee injury during a return in the first half after his foot caught in the turf. While the exact nature of Kennedy's injury is still being evaluated, Campbell noted it appears to be a significant sprain that will keep him out of action for the short term.
