Detroit Red Wings seek first win against Ottawa Senators

The Detroit Red Wings enter their third game of the season seeking their first victory after starting with an 0-2 record. Despite the winless start, the team has not allowed a goal at five-on-five strength, with all goals conceded thus far occurring on the power play or into an empty net.

Detroit faces challenges with roster depth, as several players including Marco Kasper, Mason Appleton, and J.T. Compher are sidelined. However, captain Dylan Larkin is expected to make his season debut tonight. The Red Wings will host the Ottawa Senators, who currently hold a 2-0 record.

Ottawa arrives with momentum, led by Tim Stützle, though they may be without goaltender Linus Ullmark and defenseman Jake Sanderson due to recent injuries.
