Deurne family searches for missing pet snake Felix

A family in Deurne is searching for their missing pet snake, Felix, after the animal escaped its terrarium. Laurens Steevens discovered the disappearance after reading a local news report about a snake sighting in the Heiakker neighborhood.

The snake was briefly spotted by a neighbor on a doorstep and caught in a bucket, but it subsequently escaped again. The family believes a glass sliding door may not have been properly secured.

There are concerns regarding the snake's safety due to dropping temperatures, as the species requires warmer environments. The family is currently searching gardens with flashlights and using bait boxes to locate the animal, noting that it tends to move along walls and crevices.
