Deutsche Aircraft completes first flight tests for D328eco landing gear

Deutsche Aircraft has reached a significant milestone in the certification of its D328eco regional aircraft by completing the first phase of flight testing for its new landing gear system.

Using a legacy D328 aircraft as a dedicated flying testbed, the company has successfully conducted five development flights, accumulating over 15 hours of test time since August 5. These flights followed the successful completion of low-speed and high-speed taxi tests.

As part of a strategic move to improve supply chain resilience and parts availability, Deutsche Aircraft has transitioned to a new landing gear supplier and secured full intellectual property rights for the system. This allows the company to maintain direct engineering control over the architecture, which will be standardized across both the D328 and the D328eco models.
