Deutsche Bahn clarifies Stuttgart–Rottweil schedule discrepancies

Deutsche Bahn has addressed reports of significant gaps in the digital timetable for the Stuttgart–Rottweil route. Following observations that direct connections appeared to drop from an hourly rhythm to a two-hour interval after the December timetable change, a company spokesperson clarified that no service reductions have occurred.

The discrepancy is attributed to a technical data error in the information media rather than a change in the actual service concept. Deutsche Bahn stated that the hourly Intercity (IC) frequency for the Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof–Rottweil route toward Singen and Zurich will be maintained through at least the 2027 timetable. The company has committed to fixing the technical error as soon as possible.
