Deutsche Bahn long-distance punctuality at 58.7 percent

Deutsche Bahn's long-distance train punctuality averaged 58.7 percent during the first half of 2026. In July, the punctuality rate for long-distance services dropped further to 52.6 percent.

Data indicates that approximately 70 percent of employees in the region rely on cars for their commute, while public transportation accounts for about 14 percent. Additionally, over 20 percent of employees in the state work via home office at least part-time.
