Deutsche Bahn museum train excursion rescheduled for October 2026

A historical InterCity special excursion, featuring a museum train from the DB Museum Koblenz-Lützel, has been rescheduled for October 24, 2026. Originally planned for September 2026, the trip will travel from Bruchsal and Mühlacker toward Lake Constance (Bodensee), including destinations such as Friedrichshafen and Lindau.

The vintage train will be led by a Class 103 electric locomotive, a model that defined German InterCity traffic starting in the 1970s. The carriages will feature authentic 1980s color schemes, including first and second-class coaches, a bar car, and a dining car. All proceeds from the excursion are intended to support the historical vehicles of the Koblenz Railway Museum.
