Deutsche Paletten Logistik repays Green Bond tranche

Deutsche Paletten Logistik GmbH (DPL) has completed a scheduled repayment of a 5 million euro tranche of its Green Bond 2026. This payment represents approximately 64 percent of the 70 million euros that were at peak utilization.

The repayment was made using available liquid funds. The Green Bond, originally issued in October 2022 with a total volume of up to 150 million euros and a 5.5 percent annual coupon, is listed on the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange.

Proceeds from the bond were primarily used to finance wooden Euro-pallets, as well as the repair and upgrading of existing pallets. DPL operates a pooling system involving over ten million load carriers and 200 depots across Europe, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions through reusable logistics.
