Deutsche Psychologen Akademie to host emergency psychology training in Berlin
The Deutsche Psychologen Akademie has announced a training week titled ‘Emergencies and Crises – Aid for People in Need,’ scheduled to take place in Berlin from November 16 to 21, 2026.
The program consists of ten practical, individual workshops designed for psychologists, physicians, counselors, and professionals in clinics, schools, companies, and social institutions. The curriculum focuses on providing professional support for individuals in acute distress, following traumatic events, or during crisis situations.
Key areas of study include grief and loss, de-escalation, extreme situations, exposure to violence, suicidal crises, and psychological first aid within workplace environments.
