Cloudflare and Deutsche Telekom partner to secure European digital infrastructure

Cloudflare and Deutsche Telekom have announced a strategic partnership to enhance the security and resilience of digital infrastructure for enterprises across Europe. The collaboration involves the direct interconnection of their networks, allowing European organizations to access Cloudflare’s global connectivity and security platform through Deutsche Telekom’s established infrastructure and services.

As part of the agreement, Deutsche Telekom’s enterprise arm, T-Systems, will integrate Cloudflare’s connectivity cloud solutions into its portfolio, focusing on performance, reliability, and security. This technical peering aims to reduce latency and minimize reliance on third-party transit providers, addressing previous issues where traffic between the two networks had to take indirect routes.

Additionally, Cloudflare is expanding its European market presence by leveraging Deutsche Telekom’s sales and service organization. The partnership also includes training and certification for Deutsche Telekom employees on the Cloudflare platform to support business customers in securing distributed, cloud-hosted, and AI-driven environments.
