Deutsche Telekom executive reshuffle CFO succession CTO appointment telecommunications leadership

Deutsche Telekom has announced a restructuring of its seven-member management board. Dhananjay Mirchandani is set to become the new Chief Financial Officer on May 1, 2027, succeeding Christian Illek, who will retire following the 2027 Annual General Meeting.

Mirchandani, who currently leads Group Controlling, previously held roles at Vodafone Deutschland and worked as a consultant for AT Kearney and Boston Consulting Group.

Additionally, Jan Hofmeyr will join the company as the new Board Member for Product and Technology on November 1, 2026. Hofmeyr, who most recently served at Amazon Web Services (AWS), succeeds Abdu Mudesir. Mladen Mitic will take over as Chief Product & Digital Officer, reporting to Hofmeyr.
