Intel upsizes stock offering to $20 billion for AI expansion
Intel Corporation has announced the pricing of a registered public offering of common stock, which has been upsized to approximately $20 billion from an initial target of $15 billion. The offering consists of 210,526,315 shares priced at $95 per share, representing a 6.5% discount to the previous Friday's closing price. The deal has reportedly seen demand exceeding $100 billion.
The company intends to use the net proceeds, estimated at roughly $19.7 billion, for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures and working capital. This capital raise is aimed at supporting Intel's growth in emerging sectors such as physical artificial intelligence, specialized chips, and third-party wafer production.
In other corporate news, Deutsche Bank AG reported the acquisition of 1,475,000 shares through its share buyback program between August 3 and August 7, 2026. Scout24 SE also reported the purchase of 145,000 shares during the same period as part of its ongoing buyback program.
