AI automation transforms European office work and corporate efficiency
Artificial intelligence is driving significant shifts in European office work and corporate operations. In the insurance sector, software developed by the Greek company Archeiothiki, known as AI Flows, has reduced the processing time for health insurance claims from an average of 14 days to just one minute. This technology allows for the automated processing of approximately 1,500 applications per day and enables the auditing of 100 percent of cases rather than just samples.
Deutsche Telekom is also undergoing a massive digital transformation. Under CEO Tim Höttges, the company aims to save approximately 2.5 billion euros in annual indirect costs by 2030 through AI and automation. The technology is being integrated into customer service, software development, and network operations. In the United States, T-Mobile US has already seen autonomous AI agents handle 40 percent of direct customer contacts, contributing to a 55 percent reduction in service calls. While the company emphasizes a ‘human-in-the-loop’ model to support employees, the rapid expansion of AI raises concerns regarding the future of traditional office roles.
