One specimen is a striped Liropol towel made of cotton and polyamide. It was processed using a Durate system from Carl Schmale GmbH & Co. KG, a company that revolutionized the textile industry in the 1950s by inventing the first automatic longitudinal hemming machine.

Another specimen is a white jacquard-woven walk terry towel featuring a pattern of stripes and flowers. Produced in 1990, this towel incorporates viscose filament from the company Carl Weiske.
