Deutsches Museum hosts excursion for families supported by foundation
The Stiftung Nächstenliebe in Aktion recently organized an excursion to the Deutsches Museum's Verkehrszentrum in Munich for 21 children and adults. The group included families from Eritrea, Sri Lanka, and Ukraine who are supported by the foundation in Neugablonz.
This trip marked the first use of a newly acquired long-wheelbase VW bus, which was donated by an anonymous Munich-based foundation. The vehicle is intended to expand the foundation's social work, facilitating activities for children, families, seniors, and the Royal Rangers scouts.
Additionally, Munich offers various educational opportunities for children, such as the 'Kinderreich' at the Deutsches Museum. This interactive space for children aged three to eight features 30 media stations and exhibits designed to introduce young visitors to science and technology through hands-on experimentation.
