Deutschland Tour 2026 cycling race and SailGP regatta announced

The 2026 Deutschland Tour, a world-class professional cycling race, is scheduled to take place from August 19 to August 23, 2026. The event will cover a total distance of 741 kilometers, beginning with a prologue and four stages starting in Bad Orb and concluding in Heilbronn.

ZDF and ARD will provide live coverage of the cycling race. Specific broadcasts include the second stage from Schwäbisch Hall to Offenbach an der Queich on August 21, and the final stage from Bad Dürkheim to Heilbronn on August 23.

In addition to cycling, the sports schedule includes the SailGP regatta held off the coast of Sassnitz on the island of Rügen on August 22 and 23, featuring 13 international teams. Other highlighted events include show jumping at the World Equestrian Championships in Aachen, the men's team final of the European Gymnastics Championships in Zagreb, and City Biathlon in Dresden.
