DEUTZ-FAHR enters Bolivia via partnership with CARMAX

German agricultural machinery manufacturer DEUTZ-FAHR has officially entered the Bolivian market through a partnership with CARMAX, a leading Bolivian automotive company. This collaboration marks the launch of CARMAX’s new specialized Machinery Division.

DEUTZ-FAHR, which is part of the SDF group, will initially offer a range of tractors with power ratings between 35 and 200 HP. These include the AGROLUX and AGROFARM lines, designed to support various agricultural and livestock activities such as soil preparation, seeding, spraying, and forage management.

Juan Ignacio Barrenese, Business Area Director for the Latam Region at DEUTZ-FAHR/SDF, stated that Bolivia is a key part of their Latin American development due to the country’s agricultural potential and the opportunity for increased mechanization. The partnership aims to combine German technology and efficiency with CARMAX’s local market knowledge, national infrastructure, and after-sales service capabilities.
