Deutz receives ‘Buy’ rating from ODDO BHF amid capital increase

ODDO BHF has issued a ‘Buy’ rating for Cologne-based engine manufacturer Deutz, setting a price target of 16.50 euros. This follows a period of significant structural changes for the company, including a cash capital increase that raised approximately 179 million euros through the issuance of over 15 million new shares at 11.70 euros each.

In addition to strengthening its balance sheet, Deutz is exploring technological advancements by investigating energy systems for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in partnership with an undisclosed partner.

Market signals also indicate internal confidence, as members of the supervisory board have engaged in share purchases. Specifically, Dr. Dietmar Voggenreiter acquired shares totaling 55,900 euros, and Melanie Freytag conducted transactions totaling approximately 267,172 euros in mid-September.
