Devara marks two-year anniversary amid sequel uncertainty

The action drama Devara has reached its two-year milestone, marked by a theatrical re-release. The film served as the Telugu cinema debut for Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of the late actress Sridevi, representing a significant personal and professional connection to the industry.

Despite the anniversary, uncertainty surrounds the production of a sequel, Devara 2. While producer Sudhakar Mikkilineni previously indicated the project was on track, no recent updates have been provided by director Koratala Siva or lead actor Jr NTR. The lack of news coincides with heavy upcoming schedules for both the actor and director, including Jr NTR’s commitments to Dragon and a mythological film with Trivikram Srinivas.
