DEVELON expands excavator lineup with new DX300LC-9 and updated DX35Z-7
DEVELON has expanded its equipment lineup with the introduction of the DX300LC-9, a 33-metric-ton crawler excavator. Designed for infrastructure, utility, and demolition projects, the machine features a fully electro-hydraulic control system intended to improve fuel efficiency by up to 8%. Safety technologies include E-Stop, which slows or stops the machine based on person detection proximity, and Virtual Walls to prevent contact with overhead or underground obstacles.
Additionally, the company has updated its DX35Z-7 mini excavator, a four-tonne zero-tail-swing model optimized for confined spaces such as landscaping and roadside utility work. The refined model incorporates a new 18.4 kW DW01 Stage V diesel engine, revised boom geometry, and improved hydraulic plumbing. These changes aim to enhance visibility, arm movement speed, and overall operator control in tight environments.
