DevFest Mersin 2026 explores AI and software technology

DevFest Mersin 2026 was held at the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Congress and Exhibition Palace, bringing together developers, entrepreneurs, academics, and students from various cities across Turkey. Hosted by the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Career Center in coordination with Google Developer Groups (GDG) Mersin and in collaboration with the Entrepreneurial Human Resources Association (GİDERİK), the event focused on cutting-edge technological advancements.

The program featured five keynote speeches and two workshops covering topics such as artificial intelligence agents, large language models (LLMs), physical AI, and digital transformation. Specific sessions addressed the integration of LLMs with private knowledge sources, the relationship between AI agents and their working environments, human-centric branding in the AI era, and AI applications in aviation and physics.

Beyond technical presentations, the event served as a networking hub to connect youth and student clubs with the business world. Officials from the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality emphasized the importance of such gatherings in fostering innovation and strengthening the link between vocational training, professional development, and employment through local ecosystems.
